A Custom Darling- Two Headed Pawlette

Although my two headed pawlette custom made Build a Bear is a little over a month and a half old now, I feel she’s more than worth writing about here. The night I made her I felt quite a bit like a mad scientist- couldn't sleep as I was too driven by the need for creation… for life giving.

A two headed pawlette idea had been floating around in my head for the last several months, practically haunting in its need to be realized. I had no need for donors- long since had I acquired the parts necessary for my experimentation. I set to work.

A manic belief in what I was doing paired with much last minute research, and she was born. I named her Beatrice (left head) and Winifred (right head), and gifted her with two separate but matching hearts, as well as a pumpkin spice scent. My creation realized, I dressed her in a newborn baby dress, and went to bed

A Doll Among Bears- the Barbie Bear

The Barbie Bear was kind of a no-brainer for me- of course I had to have her. Despite her decently terrifying stock photos, I knew I had to see her in person before I ruled her out seeing as she's the absolute most perfect shade of highlighter pink. I needed her in my collection, and for that, I needed to head to build a bear.

As I expected, the stock photos were completely inaccurate in their portrayal of the Barbie Bear and her beauty... her grace, even. When I saw her in person, I knew for sure she was coming home with me. I added a strawberry scent and gingham heart (naturally) and the bear builder I worked with agreed the stock photos did her no justice.

So I had her, and she was beautiful, and she remains beautiful when I bring her home and dress her up in the pink gingham dress + cute sweater combo (naturally) and honestly it's been very hard to put her down since! we've bonded very quickly, and I expect the Barbie Bear to remain a favorite in my collection for a long time to come.
